The brand new 50 metre Heesen superyacht Project Electra has been spotted entering the entrance of Rotterdam Harbour. It comes after Heesen announced the sale of the 49.8 metre superyacht, which is the second hull in Heesen’s 50 metre 5000 class. Project Electra was launched in March this year.
The 38 metre Feadship superyacht Lady Charlotte was spotted on transport in the Kornwerderzand locks following an extensive refit in Zwartsluis. Destined for Harlingen, the yacht will soon be lowered back into the water. Delivered in 2003 by Dutch yard Feadship, Lady Charlotte was designed by Michael McQuiston while Feadship De Voogt Naval Architects developed the naval architecture.
The 54 metre Damen support vessel Ad-Vantage has been spotted in Florida alongside the 50 metre Heesen superyacht Omaha. Originally delivered in 2012 as a Damen Sea Axe vessel, Ad-Vantage was refitted into a support vessel in 2015 and can accommodate a total of 15 crew and guests on board. Delivered in 2018, the 49.4 metre Omaha was the first 50 Steel model by Heesen.
The 45.6 metre Damen support vessel Pink Shadow has been spotted arriving at her home yard in the Netherlands to undergo warranty works. First launched as Joy Rider as the first hull in Damen's newly developed range of yacht support vessels, Pink Shadow is the first Damen yacht support vessel dedicated to a sailing superyacht and shadows the 53.9 metre Baltic sailing yacht Pink Gin IV.
The three masted 93 metre schooner Eos has been spotted in Charleston, South Carolina. Eos was delivered in 2006 and was designed by Bill Langan with interior design by Francois Catroux. Eos can accommodate up to 16 guests and 21 crew members.
The 90 metre Royal Huisman sailing superyacht Athena was photographed arriving back in her home country of Holland to undergo maintenance work. Delivered in 2004, Athena was designed by Pieter Beeldsnijder with Dykstra Naval Architects developing the naval architecture. The interior design meanwhile was penned by Rebecca Bradley.
The 73.6 metre go-anywhere Feadship explorer Sherpa was captured underway in the North Sea. The RWD-designed yacht was undertaking sea trials after undergoing maintenance work at Feadship in the Netherlands. Delivered in 2018, Sherpa was designed inside and out by RWD and features naval architecture by Feadship De Voogt Naval Architects.
The 106-metre Lürssen superyacht Amadea was spotted off the coast of Abu Dhabi. Launched in 2017, Amadea was designed by Espen Oeino while the interior design was created by Francois Zuretti. Amadea is currently listed for sale with Imperial. To read more about Amadea, click here.
The 46 metre Amels expedition yacht Karima was spotted cruising the Dutch waterways of Amsterdam after completing winter maintenance work in Vlissingen. Built in steel and aluminium, Karima is the first expedition yacht designed and built as new, instead of a conversion. Her exterior lines were designed by Terence Disdale and she was launched in 1993 with a refit in 2014. Made for worldwide cruising Karima features a helideck, a helicopter hangar with fuelling capabilities, and is powered by a diesel electric engine. Karima is currently listed for sale with Fraser.
The 56 metre Heesen superyacht Galvas was spotted in the Bahamas by photographer Tom van Oossanen. It comes after the yacht, which was previously known as Project Neptune, was delivered in July last year. Galvas features exterior design by UK-based studio H2 Yacht Design, while the yacht's fast displacement steel hull was developed by Van Oossanen Naval Architects.
The 95 metre Lürssen superyacht Madsummer found fine company with the 72 metre Tankoa yacht Solo and 53 metre Oceanfast yacht Mizu at One Island Park Miami marina in November. Delivered in 2019, Madsummer was designed by Harrison Eidsgaard and can accommodate a total of 20 people on board. Solo made her international debut at the 2018 Monaco Yacht Show and was designed by Francesco Paszkowski, while Mizu was delivered in 2004 and sports a military inspired exterior design penned by Sam Sorgiovanni.
The 109 metre Oceanco superyacht Bravo Eugenia was spotted moored in the Thames near the capital's iconic Tower Bridge. Delivered to her American owners in 2018, Bravo Eugenia sports exterior design by Nuvolari Lenard and naval architecture by Lateral Naval Architects. Her interior design meanwhile comes courtesy of Reymond Langton Design and is populated with bespoke fabrics and signature furniture pieces."
The 44 metre sailing yacht Imagine D was spotted moored outside Team New Zealand America's Cup base in Auckland. Built by Alloy Yachts, Imagine D was delivered in 2010 and designed by Dubois Naval Architects. Accommodation on board is for a total of eight guests and six crew members.
Gulf Craft's 43 metre Majesty 140 was spotted arriving in Fort Lauderdale last month ahead of the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show. Built from carbon fibre and GRP, the tri-deck yacht features exterior design by the yard’s in-house design team and interior design by Cristiano Gatto.
The 80 metre hybrid superyacht Artefact was spotted undertaking sea trials this November in the Baltic Sea. Designed by Gregory C Marshall, the superyacht hit the water for the first time in July after 18 months in construction. At 2,990 GT, Artefact is the biggest volume 80 metre superyacht in the world and is known for her striking glass-centric exterior.
The 80 metre Abeking & Rasmussen superyacht Excellence was spotted undertaking sea trials in the North Sea in July. Just a few months later, the Winch-Designed "futuristic" superyacht made its international debut at the 2019 Monaco Yacht Show. Key features of this unusual superyacht include the "striking and angular bow", which creates the "silhouette of a spaceship," Winch said.
The 136 metre Lürssen superyacht Flying Fox was spotted underway on her maiden voyage from the German yard to Stavanger, Norway in March this year. Now one of the largest superyachts in the world, Flying Fox features a stylish exterior penned by Espen ?ino and an elegant interior by Mark Berryman.
98 metre Abeking & Rasmussen yacht Aviva was spotted making her way up the Thames in London on July 2, 2018. The yacht passed some of the British capital's famous riverside landmarks before finally anchoring in front of Tower Bridge.
Delivered in 2017, Aviva was designed by Reymond Langton Design and offers accommodation for up to 16 guests. Her roomy 17.2 metre beam makes room for a number of impressive lifestyle features, including a full-size padel court, which won her a Judges' Special Award at the World Superyacht Awards 2018.
